It is officially November and the buzz and excitement of the holiday season is upon us! That’s right, it is finally acceptable to start singing holiday music, watch “Elf” on repeat while you enjoy a couple (dozen) freshly baked cookies, and grab a delicious drink from the Starbucks holiday menu (because you know you’ve been craving a Gingerbread Latte since the summer)!
Back for it’s 3rd year, the TAC Christmas Market is the ultimate destination to get you, your friends and family all in the holiday spirit, while also checking some present shopping off of your list! With so much fun and entertainment to offer it’s hard to know where to start, so here is a break down of the top 10 things to do at this year’s Christmas Show.

#1. Shop 3 floors of talented, local Toronto artists!
With 95 vendors, there’s sure to be something for everyone! This one day event brings together the city’s most talented artists and designers, and is a one-stop-shop for unique and hand crafted gifts that are sure to wow your friends and family!
#2. Take home a complimentary SWAG BAG!
It’s all about the SWAG! The show’s first 25 entrants at the door will be receiving our customized luxury swag bags! These bags include jewellery, gift certificates, coupons, notebooks, and more - provided by our vendors and sponsors! Be sure to arrive early for your chance at scoring one of these coveted bags.
#3. Support a local charity!
This year’s event features a holiday toy & food drive for the Daily Food Bank. Not only will you get to do some shopping, but you can give back to your community and help provide a magical Christmas to those in need.
#4. Bring the kids with our stroller parking!
Really want to come to the TAC Christmas show, but not so sure that you will be able to find someone to watch your kids? No problem! The event is family friendly (tickets are free for kids under 10!), and has just the place for you to park your stroller so that you are free to shop comfortably.
#5. Watch a poet In Action - Live!

This year, the TAC Christmas show is excited to have Alan Bo, a local Toronto poet. Bo sells premade, one-of-a-kind poetry collections, each featuring 4-5 different poems. He also takes orders for personalized poetry collections and will be writing those live at the event for his customers!
#6. Capture your memories with our complimentary Photo Booth!
Make memories that will last a lifetime, and capture those moments with our FREE Photo Booth, sponsored by one of our vendors, Sensus Design & Build! Available from 12PM-5PM, the Photo Booth lets you take some fun pictures (yes, there are props!), and prints them for you, on the spot, to take home.
#7. Take in the beauty of our historic venue!
Once again the TAC Christmas show is proud to be housed in Toronto’s iconic Great Hall! Located on Queen St. West, the Great Hall, a living piece of history, is a premier event destination. Recently having undergone restorations, the Great Hall now features an elevator, making the venue accessible for all!
#8. Enjoy some refreshments!
Along with the multiple floors of shopping, the TAC Christmas show features a cash bar and some delicious food vendors! Grab yourself some lunch (maybe even dinner too!) from our on site food vendors, and enjoy yourself with friends at our cash bar, which is featured on the first floor of the venue.
#9. Listen to some awesome music!
Love jamming out to some music while you shop? Don't worry, the TAC Christmas show has got you covered! The show features a live DJ providing you with everything from the current top charts to some good old throw back songs, and, of course, some holiday tunes to really get you in the spirit!
#10. Cozy up with some free coffee!
Come escape the chilly weather with some complimentary coffee courtesy of Starbucks Canada. It’s sure to hit the spot, and you can sip on it as you browse the show’s incredible art!
